Mother Earth Pillows - December 2009

This month we take you to Ginger Bay Salon & Day Spa in Kirkwood, Missouri.  They have been incorporating Pillossage™ techniques and the Mother Earth pillows® into their massages and other salon offerings for several years.

Massage Team Lead/Educator, Kristin Bowman, says their therapists loves how Pillossage™ makes their jobs easier, and that their clients love the unique feel of the pillows and the nearly instant sense of relaxation they bring to their massage sessions.  She appreciates that using the pillows "gives them a point of difference from other spas, we can customized our services, and give the clients something extra and provide them with helpful tools to use at home in-between massages."

At Ginger Bay, they don't limit the pillows to their massage therapy sessions!  Kristin shares, "We use the Mother Earth Pillows® in all aspects of our salon and spa.  Nail tech use the trigger point pillows in pedis and manis. Estheticians use them in the facials to support the neck and give tension relief.  They are also available on our hair-styling floor if a client gets cold or wants something for relaxation."

Employing Pillossage™ during the massages is wonderful, but many times clients also want to take the pillows home and let the therapy/self-care continue once they leave the salon.
